This specialty is responsible for providing diagnosis, treatment, and support to women who present complications during pregnancy or have a medical condition that could affect the pregnancy.

In pregnancies conceived by Assisted Reproduction techniques or at very advanced ages, it is vital to carry out this follow-up, since there is a greater probability of presenting some complication during pregnancy.

At Procrea, we have a specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, who collaborates with our reproductive biologists, offering consult, shared monitoring, or direct care for patients with complications both before and during pregnancy. In addition, she is in charge of providing care to women with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, multiple pregnancies, kidney problems, and fetal defects, among others.
