What is it?
It is a test that evaluates the bacteria present in the endometrium globally, a biopsy of the endometrial tissue is performed to analyze the bacterial DNA before carrying out an embryo transfer in an in vitro fertilization treatment, it can detect the 10 most abundant bacteria and the percentage present. It is performed 5 days after exposure to progesterone or between days 15 and 25 in a natural cycle, this test is recommended for patients with recurrent implantation failure or for any woman who wishes to be a mother and wants to know the environment in which the embryo will be implanted. The EMMA test ALICE includes the test that analyzes all the bacteria that cause chronic endometritis.
