Su funci\u00f3n principal es ayudar a ubicar el embarazo en el tiempo: cu\u00e1ntas semanas han transcurrido, en qu\u00e9 trimestre se encuentra y qu\u00e9 controles suelen corresponder en cada etapa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aunque es una herramienta pr\u00e1ctica, el <\/span><b>Gestograma<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> no reemplaza la valoraci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica ni los estudios de seguimiento. M\u00e1s bien, act\u00faa como una gu\u00eda inicial que permite organizar el cuidado prenatal y entender mejor el proceso, especialmente cuando se combina con ultrasonidos y revisiones cl\u00ednicas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se usa el <\/b><b>Gestograma<\/b><b> en el seguimiento del embarazo?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El uso del <\/span><b>Gestograma<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> suele partir de un dato clave: el primer d\u00eda de la \u00faltima menstruaci\u00f3n (FUM). A partir de ah\u00ed, se estiman semanas de gestaci\u00f3n y una fecha probable de parto. Con esa referencia, el equipo m\u00e9dico puede orientar mejor el calendario de consultas y estudios, por ejemplo:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Confirmaci\u00f3n y localizaci\u00f3n del embarazo en etapas tempranas (cuando es indicado por el m\u00e9dico).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seguimiento del crecimiento fetal y revisi\u00f3n de hitos del desarrollo por semana.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planeaci\u00f3n de estudios y valoraciones conforme avanza cada trimestre.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registro de eventos importantes (s\u00edntomas, cambios, dudas, indicaciones).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Gestograma<\/b><b> y fecha probable de parto: lo que s\u00ed y lo que no<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es importante saber que la \u201cfecha probable de parto\u201d que ofrece el <\/span><b>Gestograma<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> es una estimaci\u00f3n, no una fecha exacta. Incluso en embarazos sanos, el parto puede ocurrir antes o despu\u00e9s, y eso puede seguir siendo completamente normal.
