El responsable de producir esta hormona es el cerebro, en espec\u00edfico la hip\u00f3fisis (gl\u00e1ndula pituitaria); es importante que est\u00e9n bien controlados sus niveles para que no llegaran a existir problemas de fertilidad. En ambos casos, la <\/span><b>hormona luteinizante<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> va a estimular la producci\u00f3n de gametos para que pueda existir una concepci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En los hombres, estimula la producci\u00f3n de testosterona, la cual sirve para que se generen espermatozoides; en las mujeres, es la responsable de que se lleve a cabo la ovulaci\u00f3n. Es importante mencionar que estas funciones comienzan a desarrollarse una vez que llega la pubertad.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se mide la <\/b><b>hormona luteinizante<\/b><b> y cu\u00e1l es su valor ideal?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pesar de que esta hormona cumple con la misma funci\u00f3n tanto en el hombre, como en la mujer, sus niveles en cada uno son distintos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El valor normal de la <\/span><b>hormona LH<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en las mujeres va de 2 &#8211; 20 mUI\/ml dependiendo si es antes, durante o despu\u00e9s de la ovulaci\u00f3n. Se puede clasificar en alta o baja; estos son algunos factores que pueden alterar su nivel:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Hormona LH alta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Menopausia precoz, algunos s\u00edndromes como el de Turner, Swyer u Ovario poliqu\u00edstico o un tumor en la hip\u00f3fisis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Hormona LH baja<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Hipogonad\u00edsimo, supresi\u00f3n hipotal\u00e1mica, desorden alimenticio, hiperprolactinemia, hipopituitarismo o s\u00edndrome de Kallman.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En los hombres, el valor normal de la<\/span><b> hormona luteinizante<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> debe ser de 1 &#8211; 9 mUI\/ml y, tambi\u00e9n puede tener alteraciones en su nivel debido a ciertos factores:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Hormona LH alta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Castraci\u00f3n, insuficiencia testicular, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/procrea.mx\/sindrome-de-klinefelter-y-fertilidad\/\"><b>Klinefelter syndrome<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, anorqu\u00eda (ausencia de ambos test\u00edculos al nacer), tumor en la hip\u00f3fisis o alg\u00fan da\u00f1o en los test\u00edculos debido a quimioterapia, infecciones o alcoholismo.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Hormona LH baja<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Hipogonad\u00edsimo, supresi\u00f3n hipotal\u00e1mica, desorden alimenticio, hipopituitarismo, s\u00edndrome de Kallman o hiperprolactinemia<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 tratamiento se debe seguir para mantener estable la <\/b><b>hormona LH<\/b><b>?\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es importante que si presentas algunos de los s\u00edntomas que se mencionaron anteriormente, acudas primero con tu m\u00e9dico para que te haga los estudios necesarios y pueda indicarte si efectivamente se trata de una alteraci\u00f3n en los valores de la <\/span><b>hormona luteinizante<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> o es otra cosa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El tratamiento va a depender si tienes la <\/span><b>hormona LH<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> alta o baja, pero se basa en un tipo de terapia hormonal que va a ayudar a regular los niveles de esta.
