Regularmente es unilateral, es decir, solo afecta a uno de ellos, pero se han reportado casos en donde ha sido bilateral, o sea, ambos test\u00edculos se ven afectados por el <\/span><b>varicocele<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 provoca el surgimiento de este padecimiento?<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La causa principal de esta afectaci\u00f3n es la alteraci\u00f3n en la circulaci\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea de las venas que se encuentran en los test\u00edculos; la acumulaci\u00f3n de sangre en esta zona ocasiona hinchaz\u00f3n y por lo tanto, la funci\u00f3n testicular se ve da\u00f1ada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En realidad no hay motivos espec\u00edficos por los que pueda surgir el <\/span><b>varicocele<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, sin embargo, algunos m\u00e9dicos mencionan que esta alteraci\u00f3n se puede deber a esfuerzos f\u00edsicos o problemas de circulaci\u00f3n en general.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es importante mencionar que en la mayor\u00eda de los casos, este problema no provoca ning\u00fan s\u00edntoma; son pocos los casos en donde los hombres sufren dolor testicular, y si no se lleva a cabo un tratamiento a tiempo, puede llegar a ocasionar infertilidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otros s\u00edntomas que pueden presentarse son:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agrandamiento de las venas del escroto.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diferencia en el tama\u00f1o de los test\u00edculos (aquel que padece <\/span><b>varicocele<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, tiende a ser m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Puede aparecer un tumor en el escroto.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La cantidad de espermatozoides se ve reducida.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Tratamiento para el <\/b><b>varicocele<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lo primero que se debe hacer para detectar y tratar este padecimiento, es acudir a un diagn\u00f3stico m\u00e9dico en donde se realizar\u00e1 una exploraci\u00f3n f\u00edsica de la zona escrotal e inguinal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hay veces que a simple vista o con el tacto, el m\u00e9dico puede identificar si el paciente sufre de varicocele o no, pero en caso de que no sea as\u00ed, es necesario realizar una ecograf\u00eda o ultrasonido para detectar si hay dilataci\u00f3n en los vasos sangu\u00edneos de la zona.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si los resultados dieron positivos, el tratamiento consiste en:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Medicamento:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Para los casos en donde no existan tantas afectaciones.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Cirug\u00eda:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ideal cuando se presentan muchas molestias, dolor insoportable y se desea lograr un embarazo. (Por lo regular se recurre a ella para los casos m\u00e1s graves).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>\u00bfEl <\/b><b>varicocele<\/b><b> afecta la fertilidad de un hombre?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Totalmente. Al haber una alteraci\u00f3n en los vasos sangu\u00edneos que conectan con los test\u00edculos, el aumento de la temperatura en la zona es perjudicial para los espermatozoides, lo que puede provocar:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una concentraci\u00f3n baja.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Problemas en su movilidad.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alteraciones morfol\u00f3gicas.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Todas estas modificaciones ocasionan que su calidad baje, e incluso, puede haber casos en donde la presencia de espermatozoides sea nula en la eyaculaci\u00f3n.
