Por esta raz\u00f3n, el m\u00e9dico responsable de la administraci\u00f3n de f\u00e1rmacos tiene la responsabilidad de dar el seguimiento correspondiente para evitar este tipo de problemas ya que su incidencia alcanza hasta el 10% en los tratamientos de <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/procrea.mx\/reprod-asistida\/fertilizacion-in-vitro\/\"><b>IVF<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Factores de riesgo<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cualquier mujer que se someta a un <\/span><b>assisted reproduction treatment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> presenta este riesgo, sin embargo, hay algunas caracter\u00edsticas que se deben tomar en cuenta que hacen que sea m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil que esta condici\u00f3n se presente. El primero de los factores de riesgo para presentar el <\/span><b>s\u00edndrome de hiperestimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> es tener menos de 30 a\u00f1os pues el cuerpo es m\u00e1s susceptible a la respuesta de las gonadotropinas administradas. Sumado a esto, se ha encontrado que, mujeres con bajo peso corporal presentan mayor incidencia, de la misma forma aquellas que parecen s\u00edndrome de ovario poliqu\u00edstico, esta condici\u00f3n sin duda predispone a una respuesta exagerada.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S\u00edntomas del <b>s\u00edndrome de hiperestimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los s\u00edntomas pueden aparecer los primeros d\u00edas despu\u00e9s de la administraci\u00f3n del medicamento o bien, 10 d\u00edas despu\u00e9s. Generalmente el <\/span><b>s\u00edndrome de hiperestimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> se presenta de forma leve a moderada, entre los s\u00edntomas que se pueden presentar est\u00e1 el dolor abdominal, hinchaz\u00f3n, v\u00f3mitos, n\u00e1useas y diarrea; su duraci\u00f3n es de aproximadamente una semana y las complicaciones desaparecen por s\u00ed solas. Cuando esta condici\u00f3n se presenta de forma agravada lo primero que se puede observar es el aumento de peso de manera acelerada, incluso un kilogramo al d\u00eda, dolor abdominal intenso y distensi\u00f3n, co\u00e1gulos sangu\u00edneos, falta de aire, n\u00e1useas y v\u00f3mitos; en estos casos es necesario acudir a una unidad de salud de forma inmediata.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complicaciones<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuando el <\/span><b>s\u00edndrome de hiperestimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> se presenta de manera agravada existe la posibilidad de que se produzcan problemas respiratorios debido al encharcamiento de pulmones del l\u00edquido producido en los ovarios, esto tambi\u00e9n puede provocar torsi\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica o incluso insuficiencia renal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 hacer para evitarlo?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre las pr\u00e1cticas recomendadas para evitar este problema se encuentra el cambio de medicamentos administrado que no tengan estas repercusiones o los riesgos de sufrir el <\/span><b>s\u00edndrome de hiperestimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sea menor.
