Funciona a trav\u00e9s de ondas que permite obtener im\u00e1genes con ayuda de un aparato y un gel. Durante el embarazo se recomienda realizar tres <\/span><b>ecograf\u00edas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en diferentes periodos para evaluar la salud del feto, hay ocasiones en que se realiza un ultrasonido vaginal para corroborar el embarazo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es una t\u00e9cnica muy sencilla, no existe ninguna contraindicaci\u00f3n para realizarla, es seguro para el beb\u00e9 y la mam\u00e1, tampoco hay dolor al usarla, sin embargo, es recomendable hacerlo s\u00f3lo en las fechas que el m\u00e9dico indique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Ecograf\u00edas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> del primer trimestre<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se realiza alrededor de la semana 10 y 14 de gestaci\u00f3n, se puede medir el tama\u00f1o del feto, confirmar el tiempo exacto del embarazo, es posible detectar alguna alteraci\u00f3n y escuchar los primeros latidos cardiacos. En esta <\/span><b>ecograf\u00eda<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ya es posible intuir la presencia del S\u00edndrome de Down pues se mide la translucencia nucal y el hueso nasal fetal. Este primer ultrasonido es muy importante pues permite descartar riesgo de la madre de padecer preeclampsia o alguna insuficiencia de placenta.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Ecograf\u00edas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> del segundo trimestre<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se realiza entre la semana 18 y 22 de gestaci\u00f3n, en este momento ya se puede ver m\u00e1s claramente la formaci\u00f3n de diferentes \u00f3rganos, entre ellos los sexuales, por lo que si la posici\u00f3n del feto lo permite y as\u00ed lo deseas puedes conocer el sexo del beb\u00e9. El objetivo de este ultrasonido es una evaluaci\u00f3n morfol\u00f3gica del feto, que para este momento ya est\u00e1 formado casi por completo, por lo tanto es m\u00e1s sencillo identificar las malformaciones, funcionamiento de placenta, cord\u00f3n umbilical y nivel de l\u00edquido amni\u00f3tico.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Ecograf\u00edas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> del tercer trimestre<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se realiza entre la semana 32 y 35, previa al nacimiento del beb\u00e9. Esta <\/span><b>ecograf\u00eda<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tiene el objetivo de determinar la manera en que se llevar\u00e1 a cabo el parto.
