Muchos padres tienen miedo o se cuestionan sobre si su hijo nacer\u00e1 sano o existir\u00e1 alg\u00fan problema, este estudio descarta enfermedades relacionadas con la gen\u00e9tica, una preocupaci\u00f3n menos para los futuros progenitores.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona?<\/h2>\n<p>Este test permite evaluar los genes de cada padre para determinar de qu\u00e9 enfermedades son portadores en su informaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica aunque no hayan nacido con ellas debido a que son mutaciones recesivas, es decir, que s\u00f3lo se presenta en uno de los genes femenino o masculino; en estos casos el padre, por ejemplo, ser\u00eda el portador, si la madre no presenta esa mutaci\u00f3n determinada existe la posibilidad de transmitirla pero sin que se manifieste, al contrario que si la madre es tambi\u00e9n portadora, el embri\u00f3n posee el 25% de posibilidades de nacer con la enfermedad. El fin de esto es hacer una relaci\u00f3n para conocer la probabilidad de que los hijos de la pareja puedan presentar determinadas enfermedades gen\u00e9ticas.<\/p>\n<p>Todos somos portadores de mutaciones gen\u00e9ticas, el color de ojos, por ejemplo, es el resultado de la coincidencia de una mutaci\u00f3n en el ADN de la madre y en el del padre, para que est\u00e1 pueda manifestarse ambos deben poseerla; sin embargo, para este caso lo que se busca son las mutaciones gen\u00e9ticas espec\u00edficas que dan origen a enfermedades.<\/p>\n<p>Mediante este estudio de sangre se eval\u00faan las mutaciones gen\u00e9ticas que puedan existir en los genes de cada padre, se hace un comparativo y cruce de informaci\u00f3n para saber si resulta alguna enfermedad gen\u00e9tica o no con posibilidades de aparecer.<\/p>\n<p>Las enfermedades que podemos destacar se encuentran la fibrosis qu\u00edstica, atrofia muscular espinal, sordera autos\u00f3mica recesiva, fiebre familiar mediterr\u00e1nea, s\u00edndrome de Usher, enfermedad de Pompe, entre muchas otras.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQui\u00e9n debe realizarlo?<\/h2>\n<p>Cualquier pareja que est\u00e9 interesada en procrear un beb\u00e9; cada vez son m\u00e1s los futuros padres preocupados por el bienestar de sus hijos inclusive antes de ser engendrados.
