Involves ovarian stimulation through daily administration of drugs to achieve the development of several follicles, this stimulation starts on the second day of menstruation. There are different types of ovarian stimulation, your doctor will decide which is best for you, thinking about getting an adequate number of quality eggs.

On the day indicated your doctor performs an ultrasound for monitoring the growth of follicles and blood hormone levels to determine the dose of medication that you will continue this process for about ten days.

The stimulation ends with the last injection, 36 hours after the last injection follicles are extracted by transvaginal puncture and your partner's or donor sperm is trained to fertilize the oocytes.

Once fertilized, they are implanted in the uterus 3-6 days later, in a process that does not require anesthesia, surgery, nor does it cause pain.
